Bio

Jiří continues in glassmaking tradition of his family. He started working with glass as a child in glass factory of his father, than he went to glassschool in the Nový Bor. To improve his experience he passed twice in the course Cam Ocagi The Glass Furnace in Istanbul Turkey, under the leadership of the American Glazer Rob Strern and Czech glassmaker Jiří Pačinek.

He is inspired by many famous glass makers and artists with whom he has had the opportunity to work because of his father, for example, René Roubíček, Maria Rossen, Sun Liang and many others.
